EL ÁRBOL BONITO
Una de las riquezas patrimoniales de un paisaje se encuentra en la longevidad de algunos árboles, de hecho, existen diferentes guías al respecto. El tiempo memorizado en una corteza, en una fina línea de vida, construyendo pasado vivo que se nos presenta majestuoso en determinados lugares. Desde mi terraza se ve un árbol que no creo que esté en esa clasificación pero su aspecto en la bruma y su forma recuerda a un árbol en una bandeja. Es la miniatura de un árbol gigante, espléndido y muy agradable de mirar.
En Gran Canaria existen una serie de árboles que se les denomina de la misma manera: Árbol bonito. Ese descriptor tan hermoso y sutil genera una identificación con el mismo árbol y con el lugar en el que se encuentra. Algunos han desaparecido. Alguno de estos árboles están protegidos de cualquier agresión y otros se ubican en lugares a sotto voce para evitar cualquier mal.
Este motivo es el que impulsa la pulsión de representar ese árbol en la distancia. El árbol bonito. Un eucalipto blanco.
EL ÁRBOL BONITO (THE BEAUTIFUL TREE)
One of the richest heritages of a landscape is the longevity of some trees. There are actually several guides on the subject. The time saved in a crust, in a thin lifeline, making the past alive and presented majestically in certain places. From my porch you can see a tree that I do not think it could be included in this classification but its appearance in the middle of the mist and its shape resembles a tree in a tray. It is the miniature of a giant tree, splendid and very pleasant to look at.
In Gran Canaria there are several trees that are named the same way: the beautiful tree (el árbol bonito). That beautiful and subtle description generates identification with the same tree and the place where it is located. Some have disappeared. Some of these trees are protected from mistreatment and other places are located in sotto voce, to safe guard them from any damage.
This is the reason that urges me to represent the tree in the distance. The beautiful tree. A white eucalyptus.
